More than 40 employees of the NGOs present at the screening of "Kahaani", the story of a pregnant woman looking for her missing husband says.
"Keeping with our commitment of giving back to society, we have organized this special screening for underprivileged women from SOS - Children," Satish Kumar, sled, Cinépolis Bengaluru, said in a statement.
"It was nice to see them enjoy their experience and the entire staff was touched seeing the smiles on their faces. We strive to organize many such initiatives in the future," Kumar added.
SOS Children's Village is working with local authorities and other providers of services to support disadvantaged families and enables them to properly care for their children.
"They have the film and their time in the cinema nurtured. I am convinced that this initiative will encourage more organizations to come forward and show their support for our cause," says Mahesh, director of SOS Children's Village.
