The 28-year-old actor said that his character has the same dreams as any other man. Directed by debut director Vishal Mahadkar, the film will hit screens on 30 in March.
"Anyone who wants to make his life better would be able to relate to the feelings for this guy. There are many dreams of the protagonist that any normal middle class person would be able to relate to," Kunal told PTI.
The thriller is about a young man who completes his MBA and serves an overseas job for themselves. Once the character requirements, which enters into a foreign country, he is plagued by unforeseen challenges.
"We have tried to ensure that the protagonist is a normal guy from the beginning to the end of the story while in other films, we see a character starts out as an idiot and becomes a hero in the end," Kunal added.
In the film, Kunal will be seen sharing screen space with actor Amrita Puri of "Aisha" fame.
"I really enjoyed working with Amrita. She is very talented, and though she comes from a very different background instead of being from a" very thin "family, she is following her passion as an actor," he said.
