'Rockstar' wins top honours at FICCI Frames

'Rockstar' won a total of four awards making it the most prolific winner last night. Imtiaz Ali won for best director, while Ranbir bagged the award for best actor.
 
Music Maestro AR Rahman was given away the best music director in price and Mohit Chauhan bagged the honor for Best Singer (Male).
 
Manufacturers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani walked away with the best film award for their groundbreaking film 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'.
 
Actress Vidya Balan continued its winning spree in the best actress category for 'The Dirty Picture ". Hosted by Mandira Bedi, the prices featured amazing performances by the highly talented and experienced singer Usha Uthup and rock sensation Papon.
 
In the debut category of awards won newbie Parineeti Chopra the best debut (female) for 'Ladies VS Ricky Bahl' while Vidyut Jamwal won best debut price (Male) to 'force'. Abhinay Deo got best debut director for Imran Khan-starrer 'Delhi Belly'.
 
Playback singer Usha Uthup and Rekha Bhardwaj received the award for Best Singer (Female) for '7 Khoon Maaf '.
 
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was honored with the award for maximum power out of a personality. In the television category, 'Swim Achhe Submitted Hai', a popular show on Sony, got the producer Ekta Kapoor "Best Fiction Programme 'award, while both the main characters - Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar - was identified as the best players in Male and Female categories respectively .
 
Game Show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati "won best non-fiction program.
 
The FICCI Frames event, which unfolded here over three days, March 14 to 16, received the prize function yesterday.
