Rani Mukerji makes a southern foray

Rani Mukerji, last seen as a strong journalist with 'No One slain Jessica Bollywood was surprised in more ways than one. His next film is a Bollywood film, or a follow up in women-driven films.

The next movie Rani was a Marathi film of the South star Prithviraj, entitled "Aaiya" (an exclamation of surprise). The film is a quirky love story between a Maharashtrian woman, played by Rani, and a South Indian (Prithviraj).

"Aaiya" is set in Mumbai, and the first time we have seen Rani played a typical Marathi woman, dressed in simple salwar suits and spray the language dialogues.
